This policy explains what personal information CredPoint collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers credpoint.in and messages you send us by email or through our social media pages.

Who we are

CredPoint is an Indian cashback and rewards website. Contact us at support@credpoint.in or by post at Tronglaobi Tidim Road, Manipur.

Information we collect

What you give us

• Contact details: your name and email address.
• Purchase details: store, order ID, order date and amount you report.
• Payout details: your UPI ID, or your bank account holder name, account number and IFSC, and the amount you ask to withdraw.
• Your messages and any attachments you choose to send.

What stores and affiliate networks share

When you buy through a CredPoint link, the store or its affiliate network reports the sale to us, usually with an order reference, date, order value, status and our commission. We use this to match and approve your cashback.

Website use

Our website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and you don't need an account. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and reliability.

When you click an offer, you leave CredPoint for the store's site. The store and its affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies cover that.

How we use it

• To match the purchases you report with store reports and calculate your cashback.
• To pay approved cashback to your UPI ID or bank account.
• To reply to you and send status updates about your cashback by email.
• To follow up on missing cashback with the store or affiliate network.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process your information with your consent, given when you contact us or request cashback, and otherwise as permitted by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is necessary with:

• Stores and affiliate networks, for example an order ID and date, to confirm or chase your cashback.
• Banks and payment providers, to send your payout.
• Service providers that run our email and hosting, under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only while it's needed to handle your cashback and requests, then delete it. Records the law requires us to keep, such as payment and accounting records, are kept only for the required period.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• withdraw your consent (we may then be unable to pay cashback that is still pending);
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.

Email support@credpoint.in from the address you used with us. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Deleting your data

You can also use the contact form and choose "Privacy or data deletion".

Security

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access. No system is completely secure, so never send us PINs, OTPs, passwords or card details. We will never ask for them.

Children

CredPoint is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
